Hjortviken Country Club Introduces “Unplug & Rewind”

Hjortviken Country Club, our first country club concept, is beautifully located in the forests just outside Gothenburg, set by a scenic lake and alongside a picturesque cross-country ski trail.

As part of our “Unplug & Rewind” philosophy, we have made the conscious decision to remove all televisions from the guest rooms. The intention is simple: to create space for presence, calm, and genuine experiences.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with not a single complaint from guests. Instead, it confirms a growing desire for tranquility, meaningful activities, and a chance to truly disconnect from screens and reconnect with nature, movement, and each other.
