Happy 1st Birthday, Rox Resort!

Some birthdays deserve more than cake. Last Friday, Rox Resort celebrated its very first year, and what a celebration it was.

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since Rox Resort opened its doors on the coast at Køge Marina, just south of Copenhagen. The year has gone fast, and a lot has happened along the way. On Friday, the team gathered the people who made that first year possible: meeting and conference clients, regular guests, ambassadors and local partners, all under one roof.

The evening opened with welcome speeches and a photo wall that got plenty of use.

Then came a wonderful dinner, followed by the pool club, where Fredrik Toreskog, partner and creative director, picked up his guitar.

Copenhagen Strings and Rox’s house DJ took the night to another level with a mashup that left nobody standing still. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the sky lit up with a spectacular fireworks show from the beach right outside.

We’ll be honest: it was everything a first birthday should be. Exciting, a little bit wild and full of warmth.

Evenings like this don’t happen by chance. Behind every detail were a team that had planned, prepared and cared about each moment, and you could feel it all night long. The team have built a place with energy, personality and a strong sense of belonging, for guests and colleagues alike.

To the whole Rox team: congratulations on an amazing first year. Thank you for everything you do, every single day. Here’s to many more to come!
