MJ’s was born out of our unconditional love for Malmö, along with the desire to create something we felt was missing, something for our guests to marvel at – and the city to be proud of no less. The kind of place we’d want to hang out at, whether it’s with our friends, colleagues, family or business partners. A spot with an open door and a wide open mind. Consistent, yet ever-changing; all at once. A social melting pot where both you and we can be ourselves.

Our ambition is to deliver sensations, stir emotions, and yes, to surprise the hell out of you. At MJ’s you as a guest will always be included, because we want to get to know you! Of course, we have beautiful rooms with super comfy beds but this is not just a hotel. And yes, we serve great food made with love, but this is not just a restaurant. We most definitely prepare show-stopping cocktails, but this is not just a bar. MJ’s is life.

Forget everything you previously associated with the word conference. A conference or meeting at MJ’s is always something else. Stunning, inspirational and funny facilities with the latest technology awaits you. And when we say funny we mean like literally funny. You´ll laugh and you´ll dance. Maybe have a drink or two. Definitely bubbles and flamingos. At ESS Group, we always have a vision to do things differently – our way. Our aim is never to build just another hotel, but to create a completely new destination, a place to remember and dream about, something that has been our philosophy all the way from Ystad Saltsjöbad through Falkenberg Strandbad, Steam Hotel and now to MJ’s.
Let us introduce The Flower Garden, The Pink Parlour and The Velvet Nest – our three gorgeous venues, seating everything from 10 to 40 peeps. We like to look at them as something like the antidote to all your office nightmares: happy, warm, quirky yet functional spaces that help spark your next big ideas. The latest technology is of course included , but why not take your meeting to the next level by adding a karaoke machine, your own DJ or a cocktail trolley? Or why not just take over the whole place, including all our rooms, restaurant, bar and staff? Yes, at MJ’s everything is possible.
